Today me and my class walked around the school to look at different paintings.We done it for our theme art alive.My favorite type of art was their drawings of Pasifika art, they really put effort into their drawings. I'm and islander that is why I like it.
Colours can make us feel happy or sad and they can make us feel hungry or relaxed. Red, orange and yellow are all warm colours. Warm colours make us feel happy, however yellow, red and orange can al
so mean danger. Red can also make us feel happy hungry . Cool co,ours include green, blue and purple. Cool colours are usually calming. But it can also mean sadness. Purple can mean creativitie as it's a mix of blue and red.
When Mondrian made his paintings,he would always mix his own colours and never use the paint directly out of a tube. He often used primary colours red, yellow and blue to keep his paintings pure and simple.
Kandinsky thought that shapes and colours by them selves were art.He felt that he could express feelings and music through colours and shapes and in his paintings. He thought that yellow founded like a trumpet and that some colours put together could sound like a piano.
Every Tuesday morning we go to kiwisport to do the activity of boxing. Boxing is the most best sport for me because it helps keep fit, also it helps you go through a tickle feeling when you run with the boxing gloves.My partner was Samuel I was coach he was boxer he was good at doing jabs and crosses.Our coaches name is Pax . She is good at boxing.Lastly we took off our liners and gloves.Then we walked back to class for morning tea.
On Thursday morning me and my class went outside for a game that our teachers made up.Our first challenge was run and skip to the other side.I wasn't that good at it but my friends were amazing at it.Our second challenge was hop on two feet to the other side.When I done it I kept falling down.lastly we lined up and walked back to class and started writing about it.I felt happy because nothing bad happend .
On Thursday morning Miss King told the class to line up to have a game outside but it started to rain. Next we had to go inside to play a inside game called Heads or Tails.Heads or Tails is a probability game. You have 50% of winning. The first game I chose heads but it was tails so I was out.No one won. Second game I lost at the start of the game then we started writing about it. I felt angry but I still had fun.It was the first time I played. The game was easy a bit.
Calvin and Hobbes were lying in bed when Calvin suddenly sits up. Any monsters under my bed tonight??" he screams. "No, Nope, Uh-uh" come the ghostly whispers from under the bed. "Well, there'd better not be. I'd hate to have to torch one of you with my flame thrower!" shouts Calvin standing on the edge of his bed. "You have a flame thrower!" Hobbes asks skeptically. "They lie, I lie." Whispers Calvin from under the covers.
"Wanna see something weird?" Calvin asks Hobbes while standing in the kitchen. "Watch. You put the bread in the slot and push down the lever." Says Calvin while putting his bread into the toaster. The toasted bread flies up into the air and Calvin shouts. "Then a few minutes , toast pops up!" "Wow. Where does the bread go?" Asks Hobbes. "Beats me. Isn't that weird?" Replies Calvin.
Moana stood tall on the white sand as she said to maui. "No i'm here to". "Ohooooo of course, of course yes". Said maui as he threw his boat on the sand and announced. "Maui always has time for his friends." And cheekly snatched moanas oar and grabbed hei hei out of the sand maui said."If you use a bird to write with,its called tweeting". And handed moanas oar with a smile. "I know ,not everyday you get a chance to meet your hero." Moana swings her oar and wacks Maui in the stomach. "you are not my HERO." shouted moana as she grabbed Mauis ear. "And i am not here for you to sign my oar.
I have been learning about shapes for the past few days. I found that the 3D shapes were really interesting, especially the sphere because I had always thought of them as circles. I would like to thank my teachers for using all their time setting up our work so we can learn more at home.
